Can we rule out a terrorist atack on A330 flight 447 Rio-Paris?

hayabusa asked:

Terrorism, which had at one point been discounted, is now no longer being ruled out by Herve Morin, the French defence minister.

“All possibilities must be examined, we cannot by definition exclude a terrorist attack because terrorism is the main threat for all western democracies,” he said.

Active duty service member stationed in S korea doesnt know how to purchase plane tickets overseas to USA?

hkmarie1 asked:

I would like to go home in April (for 21 days) it is Dec. right now.
If I’m trying to buy a plane ticket OUT of korea TO the states, how/where would I do that? How do I find airlines going overseas from another country going to the states? How do I get a military discount on an overseas flight out of country? It’s not as easy as just going to Northwest online or orbitz (where they require your purchased ticket to be in state). I’m really missing home. I would like to find tickets soon.

How does flying from overseas to instate ( Oregon or SD) even work? Do I buy a ticket from korea to US then state to state or can I buy and overseas ticket with a connecting flight?
I hope this makes sense. Thankyou to anyone who can offer advice or help in anyway.

Traveling tomorrow, unable to print boarding pass online?

Peach asked:

My husband and I are traveling (within the US) tomorrow and I’ve got a question. I booked our itineraries separately online because we had a coupon for each of our flights that could only be applied if we booked this way (I used our flyer miles for the discount). I am now able to print MY boarding pass online, but not HIS. I called the airline and they said I can’t print his boarding pass because the credit card used was in MY name so we have to check in at the airport and show the credit card??? Anyone else had this problem before? Will our seat assignments stay the same even though we’re checking in at the airport rather than online?
Thanks SO much for your answers so far, it has put my mind at ease!

Why do so many leftists discount the threat posed by terrorism?

Islam Delenda Est asked:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArQMtZCG_Bfc4_CUqzLhGfTY7BR.;_ylv=3?qid=20080627194749AA1ORT0

I guess this guy forgot about the first attack on the WTC, TWA Flight 847, the USS Cole, the Khobar Towers, our embassies in Africa, the Achille Lauro, 9/11, M11, the London Subway attack, countless suicide bombers, the attempted attack on JFK Airport, the Lackawanna cell, the terrorism convictions in Toledo, Columbus, Miami, LA, and Orlando, and the promise of more terrorism to come…all brought to you by the “religion of peace”.

Why do leftists insist on thrusting their heads in the sand?
leo: Don’t be obtuse. For every Timopthy McVeigh you can name, I can name thousands of Muslims who have committed acts of terrorism in the name of their faith.
longhaired: This should be interesting. How, pray tell, was the attack on USS Cole anything BUT terrorism? It was perpetrated and claimed by al Qaeda.

Flying from Phoenix to Mpls in June. When’s best time to get tickets? What’s the best travel agency to use?

kronostasis_420 asked:

I usually use “Travelocity” on line to book flights and rental car. Is there a better travel agency to use? Would it be best to book the flight as soon as possible, or should I wait until it’s closer to departure time? I’m 52 years old – if I join AARP, can I get a discount?
